Les Nèg' Marrons, duo emblématique du reggae/hip hop français, émergent dans les années 90 à Garges-lès-Gonesse, influencés par Public Enemy. Révélés par "La Monnaie", ils explosent avec « Rue case nègre », disque d’or en 1997. Engagés, fiers de leurs racines africaines, Jacky et Ben-J incarnent une voix rebelle et festive. Leurs collaborations (Wyclef Jean, Cesaria Evora, Alpha Blondy…) et projets parallèles (Première Classe, Bisso na Bisso, radio sur Skyrock) renforcent leur empreinte dans la culture urbaine.
